Terms & Conditions

Seating & Weight Policy:

  • Each helicopter seats 6 passengers, with a maximum total passenger weight of 450 kg (excluding baggage).

  • Please provide accurate individual body weights when booking.

  • Exceeding the helicopter’s weight limit can result in denied boarding without a refund.

  • Passengers over 75 kg are charged INR 2,000 per kilo of excess weight. Group weight is calculated collectively.

  • Check-in discrepancies are settled before boarding.

Travel & Reporting:

  • Arrive in Dehradun one day before your scheduled flight.

  • The Chardham Heli Yatra typically lasts 5 nights and 6 days.

  • Always plan to keep an extra day after the tour ends in case of weather delays.

Weather, Schedule Changes, and Safety

  • All flights are dependent on weather conditions, air traffic clearance, VIP movements, and technical factors. There may be unforeseen delays or cancellations.

  • If flying is disrupted for 5 consecutive days, a full refund is given. In case of mid-tour interruptions, a revised itinerary will be proposed, with possible extra costs for extensions.

  • No compensation for additional costs (e.g., extra hotels, meals) due to delays or cancellations beyond the operator’s control.

Documents

  • Aadhar Card (Indians) or passa port (foreign nationals) is mandatory for all passengers.

Accommodation & Add-ons

  • Kedarnath accommodation can be arranged at an extra cost. However, overnight stays here aren’t recommended due to the high altitude and basic amenities.

  • Any services not mentioned in the package are chargeable and must be booked in advance.

Medical & Emergencies

  • Passengers are advised to have medical clearance before joining the Yatra.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Rescheduling with at least 28 days’ notice incurs a 10% fee (subject to seat availability). Cancellations on shorter notice follow the provider’s cancellation policy.

Special Notes

  • New-day Chardham travelers are prioritized over the backlog of prior days.

  • If stranded at Kedarnath due to weather, hotel costs must be borne by passengers.

  • Late-day flights to Harsil/Jhalla can be skipped if turbulent winds develop after noon.

  • If a group cancels partway through the tour, ground transportation back will be arranged at the passenger’s cost.

  • Any tax increases after booking are payable before departure.

Day 01: Arrival in Dehradun

Kick off your Chardham Helicopter Yatra with a smooth arrival in Dehradun, the main hub for all heli-tours. You’ll get a complimentary hotel stay on your arrival day. Meals aren’t included, but can be arranged on request. For a stress-free experience, your airport, railway station, or bus stand pickup will be coordinated once you share your arrival details at booking. Aim to reach Dehradun by 2 PM, giving you ample time to rest and prep for your spiritual adventure. In the evening, you’ll have a detailed tour briefing and receive duffel bags—each person can carry up to 5 kg of essentials.

Day 02: Yamunotri Dham by Helicopter

After an early breakfast, check out at 6:30 AM and head to the Sahastradhara Helidrome. Your heli-journey to Kharsali begins at 7:30 AM, with arrival by 8:00 AM. From Kharsali, you’ll proceed towards Yamunotri Temple for darshan, minimizing wait times. The trek to the temple is about 6 km one way, and the round trip takes roughly 5.5 hours. While here, enjoy sights like the Yamuna Mata Temple, local hot springs, and Shani Temple.

Day 03: Gangotri Dham by Helicopter

After breakfast, check out by 7:30 AM and take off at 8:00 AM towards the Harsil/Jhalla Helipad. You’ll arrive at Harsil (famously scenic and dotted with apple orchards) and check into your hotel. The trip to Gangotri Temple is a picturesque 25 km, about a 50-minute drive each way, with the darshan and round-trip taking approximately 3.5 hours. Explore sights around Harsil, such as Bagodi Village, the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple, and nature walks.

Day 04: Kedarnath Dham by Helicopter

After 7:30 AM checkout, board your 8:30 AM helicopter to Sersi Heli-base, landing by 9:00 AM. At Sersi, you’ll use shuttle flights for a swift 7-minute aerial transfer to Kedarnath. The temple visit typically takes about 2 hours. Depending on schedule and conditions, a trip to Triyuginarayan Temple—the legendary wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati—may also be included.

Day 05: Badrinath Dham by Helicopter

Begin early, checking out by 5:00/5:30 AM. The helicopter flight to Badrinath departs Sersi at 6:00 AM, reaching Badrinath by 6:30 AM. Settle into your hotel and enjoy breakfast before heading for darshan and local sightseeing. Expect around 1–1.5 hours for temple rituals. Don’t miss a visit to Mana Village—India’s last village near the China border. Special aarti at Badrinath Temple is available upon request (extra charges apply).

Day 06: Return to Dehradun

Check out early (by 5:30/5:45 AM) for your 6:30 AM helicopter ride back to Sahastradhara Helidrome, Dehradun, landing by 7:30 AM. Retrieve your belongings from the hotel cloakroom, have breakfast, and our team will drop you at your chosen departure point—airport, railway station, or bus stand.
